Reconsider what you see.
I always knew how to look, yet I didn’t know how to “see”. Even then, the first time I did a blind contour drawing (drawing only looking at the subject), my eyes raced around the subject as my hand struggled to make sense of it with graphite on paper. Take a second look. Slow down. Notice the lines, contours, symmetries, asymmetries… Let yourself move slowly and live a little off balance and discover some meaning and changes to perspective.
